Season 2, Episode 2


A few weeks ago, the longing gathering with secondary students are finally arrived. Its been a great opportunity to meet up with all of them but sadly I do not get to chat more in depth with them. Even so, there is one quality topic that we get to talk about - our future. 

Yes, I think it is time to really look into that. What career should be our choice? Well, it is really hard to pin point which industry we would like to be in. I guess it is because we do not have a thorough understanding about the courses we are taking. I would like to have a career which has normal working hour and inspirational at the same time. I really hope that would not be a dilemma. Both that elements are inextricable. 

Inspiration is vital for me right now. It is the force that drive me & maintain my passion. I want my works to satisfy my spirit and mental. So what kind of career that would satisfy me? The idea is still vague but I hope it'll be fashion, art, or marketing related. 

As the old saying stated 'the future is now'. As cliché it may sounds, planning should starts now.

Touch by Sex and the City

Season 2, Episode 1,

Time flies and the lost of interest had led me to hiatus. Well now I'm back for a new season with a new layout! It is great to be back and write after a long procrastination.

Sex and the city, surprisingly it still had its charm to catch my attention. I admit at first I was attracted by the fame, exaggerate story line, clothes, and the beautiful scenery portrayed in the trailer. So, I went to cinema without knowing exactly what to expect. I guessed it would be just another typical American movie.

After 2 hours plus of the movie, I am touched. Not by all those mentioned above, but the veil behind all the luxurious - Friendship of the quarttro and the importance of respect in every relationship. Shame on me for leaving out the possibility that the story of four main characters in the movie may be emotionally triggering to me.

There are few scenes that touches me deeply. When Samantha announced that she is been invited to go Abu Dhabi for free and the only reason for her to agree is her 3 best friends are coming with her and their expenses are covered as well. That moment is so moving and magical. This pure friendship that whatever good things happen, there is always the desire to share with best friends. I think to myself, who would do what Samantha did in reality? The most probably answer would be 'Okay I'm in! When should I depart?'. Although Samantha is provocative, she puts her best friends in the utmost position. The scene where they sang on stage at a bar at Abu Dhabi and Samantha turns down a hot guy who she admire because it was ladies night. Her 3 best friends are giving her a questioning remark, and what she replied is another highlight - 'Men, babies, doesn't matter. We are soul mates.' I was awe and envy. That statement is so strong that my heart melts. She really is my favourite character. Another scene where they have been forced to leave Abu Dhabi due to Samantha's sex scandal and upon leaving the hotel, Carrie discovered her passport was left at the flee market shoe counter. She wanted to get it back herself and once again Samantha touches me. 'Like we will leave you in the middle of Abu Dhabi. We are coming with you.' She replied.

Great moments are never limited in this movie. They are not just sharing good things together but bad things as well. The scene where Miranda had a little talk with Charlotte about how stressful it is taking care of kids (take a sip!), everyone are up when Samantha called to inform them she had been caught and they went through all the troubles with her, and everyone are there for Carrie when she wants to talk about the kiss between she and her ex. They are always there for each other, giving honest advices and opinions without hurting their feelings.

I love how they respect each other even though they have disagreements. Charlotte though that Carrie meeting with her ex as playing with fire but Carrie do not bother. At the end, they both apologize for being harsh on each other. Carrie's husband bought her a diamond ring after she told him about the kiss incident and go to the premiere with her even though he is tired. He respect her honesty and the way she handle things.

It is a great movie. I guess small things touch the most.

Influentially influencesive

Episode 34:

A leader is someone who is able to influence others to meet his or her goal. Power is the influence capacity that one possessed towards the others. From these two definitions, conclusion can be draw -- leader = power. There are debates as to whether a leader is natural born or can be taught. I personally feel that it is the former one. One can only learn to become leader-like but not a true leader because there are certain traits, values, and charisma which are unable to learn. It is just like talent, you cannot learn talent do you. Of course a leader is better than a follower due to choices which a leader can choose to either use or not to use the power. Most of the time the power is needless. A leader can influence others verbally or through body language. How annoying. I have lots of examples to give but I don't think you care about it so it is unnecessary. You can think by yourself, observe things that happen on you or around you.

Finally I got my first semesters' result on Tuesday. 2A 1C, I'm not satisfied. I wonder how the lecturer mark the assignment. There's no way I'll get a C and it's only 40 marks, just pass. I don't think I do bad. First assignment is always harder to score but not that worse.

I have a descriptive essay as an assignment. Describe about a gadget and choose a food or drink to recommend to a foreign friend. I'm speechless!

Revolution

Episode 33:

Everyone was so thrilled this few days. It is the result announcing week and all the SPMer and STPMer is jumping with joy. I'm glad for them. They were all so brilliant!! Since when does sweeping A's is as easy as abc? It keeps me questioning myself - What am I doing when I was that age? So from now on I'll put my heart and soul more into books. I know it's hard especially when I get stuck in the half way but hey, nothing is easy in life right. I've also decided not to sit in front of my laptop so often. Perseverance G.

Recently, two mobile phones caught my eyes - Sony Ericsson X1 and Nokia E36.



Both gorgeous phone but E36 is a typical clone of Blackberry. I wonder whether X1 has sold in Malaysia because I could not spot a store that sell it. I hope it does if not I'll crush. The price is unknown too. So mystery! E36 is around RM1179 if not mistaken and it has GPS function. Is that cool or what! I know, I should not be too carried away.

I wanted to write a post about leadership but something just holding me back. Nothing, just another post on complain that I wanted to share. Save it to next time then.

Sweat it out

Episode 32:

Today is my very first time going to gym!! I never would have thought that I will be involving myself into doing body building that kind of stuff but now I guess I was wrong. Gym is not just about body building although that is my main reason for going there, it has other types of equipments which are use for stamina building. Today is all about that. I have tried running machine, cycling machine, staircase climbing machine, and chain-like pulling machine (not sure about the exact name of the machines). It was fun, I kinda enjoyed the feeling of muscle-ache. Crazy? Well, I think maybe is because I have forgotten when is the last time my heart pounding like a nail so I want to get that feelings back.

The reason why I went to gym is not because I'm overweight! I'm skinny. I went because I told a friend that the only way to slim down is go to gym. Initially he wanted to jog but I'm not into it so I just come up with something and out of my expectation he agreed. Which is why I end up in the gym. It is not that bad though, just that last time I was too lazy to bother about it and always try to seek for excuses. The gym provided 10 days free trial. I got nothing to lose so I just give it a try.

Episode 31:

Age 21 is always being view as an important stage of one's life as it proves that ones is officially an adult. It's really something that is worth celebrating. Happy Birthday BK! I hope you have a great day & great party! Yes, a party.... I did not attend, so sorry about that. I started to get emotional and it affects my mood. For me, I feel that I should have achieve something when I reach 21 but sadly, I can't really figure out a thing on me which make me proud of. With that, I don't think I should celebrate or share the joy with others and that's why I absent myself for the party. I do not know what's wrong with me, maybe you feel that it's not a problem at all but I just can't ignore it. I wanted to be a role model or someone others may look up to. I'm tired of envy about other people's life.

Anyway, I hope BK will like the present we have bought because I like the bag! I buy the stuff that I like for him(BK) because I do not know what he want.

Fragile

Episode 30:

I do not know about you but this word appeared on my mind where I feel that it seems like a message or a truth which I should realize and aware of.

Don't you think human is fragile? We are strong in our ability to invent a lot of great stuff and the innovation and revolution in technology but you would not be able to predict what will happen to you a second after. Just like what happen to me yesterday where I was fine, cheerful, and full of energy in the morning but after dinner, I started to have stomachache and suffer from diarrhea for the whole night. We cannot foresee what disastrous things will happen to us so what makes you think that we are strong? Sometimes people may be vanished by just a word or even their own desire or/and by the non living objects such as power and money.

Another example, an acquaintance from Moral Studies class has just pass away yesterday night. I was in the same class with her yesterday noon where she was energetic as usual and delivering forms to her classmates. Today morning, lecturer told us that she was gone. She fell from her motorcycle and hit by a bus. Can you imagine how shocking it is? Can you explain this? Only God able to. It may looks like a storyline that will only happen in movies which I myself agree too but it really happen in reality. A life can be terminated just within a blink of the eyes.

All I'm trying to say is we should cherish and appreciate what we have and become a better person mentally and psychologically. A minor unconscious may lead to damage just like I spoiled the bench of a motorcycle on the evening when I adjust it without dealing it in the proper way. As everything are fragile, we should be more careful in anything.

Jaw dropping

Episode 29:

Sigh. After few weeks of holiday, tomorrow it is time to pick up the bag and return to college. Second semester will be quite tiring due to there are two subjects on one day. I know I can handle it. No big deal!

Ok! My favorite reality shows, whole new season of America's Next Top Model Cycle 12 will be air on 4th of March! I can't wait for it! Share with you the preview.



I found a shocking news about a 13 year old kid become a dad on today's newspaper! This case happen in England where he have unprotected sex with a 14 year old girl, Chantelle last year and the baby girl was born on Monday. Chantelle is 15 this year. Kids today really know how to amaze us, with bad things. I was frustrated about the boy's parents! For me they were very irresponsible and did not portray themselves as a role model to their children. The little boy came from a very terrible family where his parents were divorced and did not live a proper lifestyle. The true reason that trigger my anger were the responses that I saw from a forum. Many treat the news as another teen pregnancy news and did not even realize that it was something sick! They are numb due to the high teen pregnancy rate in their country where they were often flooded by the similar news until they so use to it and do not think that there is anything wrong with it. How pathetic it is! I am going to present about teen pregnancy either tomorrow or coming Thursday.

Episode 28:

I've discovered the hairstyle I would like to have.



I'm always fall for short hair but I can't seems to find the short hairstyle that I like so I'll have to consider the medium length style. Seems like short hair is not the trend for 2009. I do not know whether it'll fit me but my instinct tell me to go for it. Leave it to the hairstylist though.

Good girls got hit bad

Episode 27:

Oh! My mom gave me 5 movie tickets of 'the Curios Case of Benjamin Button' today. The screening date is this Sunday 10:30am at GSC Gurney. Anyone interested? Well, I'm not so excited about this movie so I was hesitate whether I shall go or not. It is a story about a man, Benjamin who born as an old man and as time goes by he become younger. He meet Daisy where both of them kindda have crush on each other but as he become younger, she grow older. Will they make it through all the obstacles? It'll be quite a nice Valentines movie though but I'm single for Christ sake. Hah..... I wonder if my friend want to go.

Gosh! I can't believe that Chris Brown hit Rihanna! How could a person be so violent towards the other! The news said that he hit her after she keeps on accused him for flirting with other girl. Well hello, that is what girls always do, what's the big deal?! You have to be thankful that you have a girl who is jealous over you! Sick of those who just do not know how to appreciate. Poor Rihanna, I just want you to know that my shoulder is 24/7 ready for you to cry on. Muahahaha......
